To find out more, or to book an introductory session, please contact hello@space-4.co.uk
We start with an introductory session: an opportunity to ask questions, begin to get to know each other, establish what you are looking for from counselling, and see if we are a good fit for what you are seeking.
Space-4 recognises that everyone's needs are different and may vary at different stages of counselling - together we will formulate a counselling support plan that is tailored to you.
Introductory session:
For the introductory session, we will reserve a 50 minute space for you and you will have the option to stop after 25 minutes (paying £25) or to continue for the full 50 minutes (paying £50). Longer introductory sessions are available to suit your needs & preferences.
Regular weekly counselling & EMDR:
Regular weekly sessions are £60 per 50 minute session, with a space reserved just for you at the same time & day each week.
Bespoke plans:
Bespoke session plans can be agreed to suit your needs, e.g. longer sessions may suit you if you wish to explore trauma, or simply take your time settling into sessions, or if you are wanting a single session to focus in depth on a particular topic.
Prices will be agreed in advance according to the bespoke plan.
Providing a non-judgemental space for reflection and empathetic understanding, we offer an opportunity to explore difficulties & strengths and underlying factors, challenge established patterns of thinking/behaviour/relating, and open up space to live your life in new ways.
This approach can help you to understand and move forward from feelings of anxiety & depression, emotional conflicts, difficulties forming and maintaining relationships, life events & transitions and many other mental health concerns.
Space-4 offers:
- talking therapy (psychodynamic counselling)
- EMDR therapy
Integrating techniques and perspectives from:
- acceptance and commitment therapy & positive psychology (ACT & DNA-V)
- cognition and behaviour (CBT)
We agree a counselling support plan together, with a schedule and approach to suit your individual needs and preferences: we use the introductory session to assess and make a plan and then continually review and assess as we work together.
